2. Hosting and server logs

When you access this website, the hosting provider may process data required for its technical operation. This includes, in particular, your IP address, the time of access, the requested file, the amount of data transferred, your browser and operating system. This processing serves to provide the website securely and reliably, on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Contact enquiries

When you use the contact form, your name, email address, an optionally provided phone number and your message are transmitted to the server over an encrypted connection and delivered to Leonard Loock by email. When you request a callback, your name, phone number and any email address you have entered are transmitted. The website does not maintain a separate contact database for this purpose. Your data is processed to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries relating to a contract and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Email delivery is handled by Resend, a service of Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. The information included in the form is processed for the purpose of delivery. Further information is available in Resend’s privacy policy. Resend provides its data processing terms in its Data Processing Addendum.

4. Local files and external services

Fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts are served locally. Cloudflare Web Analytics is used to produce statistical reports and measure page loading times. The service records, among other things, page views, technical performance metrics, browser, operating system, device type, country and referring website. Cloudflare states that it does not collect or use personal data for Web Analytics and does not track users across different websites. According to Cloudflare, Web Analytics does not use cookies or local browser storage. Further information is available in the Cloudflare Web Analytics documentation and Cloudflare’s privacy policy. The analysis serves the legitimate interest of understanding and improving the website’s use and technical performance (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Apart from this, the website does not use advertising or tracking services and does not use cookies that are not technically necessary.

5. Retention period

Personal data from enquiries is retained only for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and any subsequent contractual relationship, or as required by statutory retention obligations.

6. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

7. Updates

This privacy policy reflects the website’s current technical setup. It must be updated accordingly if the hosting, contact delivery process or integration of external services changes.
